Title: Isopropanol and again
Post by: Pj on March 06, 2008, 07:51:07 am
There are 2 other topics on this running at the moment.

Now here's a point about many subjects on here:  3 or 4 of us speak with such positive conviction and we're all close to going out and converting to a new product, then along come a couple of other comments that put the other side, and the product doesn't look so great.

Measure twice cut once - I guess

I think only one negative so far from a user. I doubted it's use too but i haven't tried it.
I do have a bottle in the garage i might chuck in later. I don't fancy running it through my resin myself and am a little concerned over effects of solvent on double glazing seals (the taped edges). Interesting though. :)

I tried it for one litre in whisky glass amounts over about a month as per NWH instructions, couldn't make up my wind about the sheeting. Regarding the freezing. I stop inside when below 2c. Definately didn't do any harm to anything. Tds stayed at 000. Have a slight feeling made windows shinier but not sure.
