trying to find a connect for the right price is doing ma head in. contacted auctions today and no 220 models going through this week. >:(

we are not all loaded with cash
Fair comment but try as hard as you can to buy a new one,unless your very unlucky you will have at least 3-4 years trouble free motoring and you`ll save a packet in the long run.

manheim seems best auction i have been at so far.

ive owned new vans ( well ive driven them whilst working for councils and the MOD ) and some have been far from trouble free, i had a renualt kangoo off the road with repairs for over 4 weeks in a 9 month spell :(

loads of ex-AA VW T4's going through the Newport auction tomorrow, expext to pay about 4 - 5 K plus VAT for them though, very nice vans and a good resale

There is a 220 lwb high roof on a 55 plate with 88k on the clock going at BCA glasgow on 6 march.

yeah thats the kind of thing i am looking for. One of them is in bathgate which is jus tup the road from me. I will be at manheim next week as lombard fleet sale is going through. British gas vans. load sof low milers last time i was up viewing.

would like one with max 50k on clock and some service history.

i know my old boss is getting shot of all the connects he has due to the cost of fixing them if there is a problem also the RAC  are doing the same because of the cost ! my escort had to go into the garage the owner said he could fix any problem with my van because it was all mechanical "DONT EVER GET RID OF IT FOR A NEW CONNECT" was his advice

Isn't the connect a bit small for a WFP setup? Even the LWB high roof felt cramped when I test drove. I'd go T4 size minimum personally,.. although I do like the look of the connect. Check out the connect payloads too,... the figures aren't that high at all.  :(

400ltr van mount ina 220 connect will be adequate. Payload is 800kg for these vans. I don't want to be buying a massive van for just starting up. Learn to walk first i think. No point in going crazy.
