Title: Home-made Di cannisters?
Post by: Mike 108 on March 02, 2008, 12:41:43 pm
Hi all.

Did someone on here (within the last 6 months) explain how they had made their own Di cannisters, cheaply, using materials commonly available from plumbers merchants?

Or maybe someone gave a link to such a project?

If anyone can remember the article and advise me how to get it, I would be grateful.

Thanks

Mike

im sure you could make some easily out of some plumbing fittings and drain pipes with caps, but you might as well buy one because you cant be bothered.

I just got 5 (Yes FIVE!) DI vessels from that ebay seller. Top notch gear, and VERY cheap too. I've seen the ones made from plumbers pipe,.. and they cost nearly the price of these re-furbished ones, and have the disadvantage of not being able to take the pump pressure,.. or in the case when I tried to make on, not even tap pressure!
