How many leaflets per month or per year do you send out ?

Or do you find that your websites have taken over from leaflets ?

I put out about 12-15 thousand a month but still get more response from the website.

£15.50 per 1000 to go out in the local paper. About £10.50 per 1000 for printing,so yes they are high, but if it keeps the work coming in its worth it.3 average size jobs per month covers the costs approx £350. If you dont get three jobs out of 12-15 thousand leaflets then the design needs looking at.
I am averaging about 10-15 jobs per month from leaflets and about 15-20 from my website.

I find that a lot of customers just want to use plastic and it also brings in customers who may want the job doing but are putting it off until they have the cash. With the facility to accept card payment they just get it done anyway and worry about paying later.This brings business in that may have gone to a compeititor who does not accept payment by card.
Its not cheap but the extra bit of business it generates pays for it. I also believe it gives you credibility with the customer. A lot of people believe that if you accept card payment then you must be professional.

Put 8 to 10 thousand out a month keeps me busy as they get a leaflet roughly every 3 months

Put 50,000 out over last 5 weeks or so and response has not been great. Usually get 1 to 2 calls per thousand. But it is unusually slow at the moment.

When you say you send out x amount of thousand leaflets per month - are they always the same type, or do you have different types for different times of the year ?

Same ones so they realise your not just a fly be night merchant
