Post by: gwrightson on February 29, 2008, 07:30:53 pm
Just had a call,

custy, How much to come and suck out some water from his carpet ? I have broken the fish tank and water is soaking the carpet.

were are you,? I ask . how much water ?

  next village,  100 ltre tank.

Ok , i will have to come and take a look and access the situation.

but How much will it be   ?

it will cost £80 to come and suck it up straight away, but then other charges will occur , ie drying, cleaning ect ect.  the £80 is for coming staight out and to give you a quick suck out  ;)

Ok, I will ask my flat mate and get straight back to you.

geoff.

Has he rang you, yet Mike ? :)

Reminds me of a job I did a while back. Upstairs flat, 2 guys sitting on a settee watching telly when a 300 litre tank burst in front off them. The shock caused them to shoot back on the settee badly damaging the lath and plaster wall behind. Downstairs ceiling collapsed and major damage to nearly every rooms decoration. Total bill including re-dec was around £3,500 not including new tank and fish.
