Title: Wagtail
Post by: frames to panes on February 28, 2008, 08:51:07 pm
Bought one from the US and it came today. Um not sure about it yet, doesn't seem very well made (plastic). Had a dry run with it and it feels really alien, i'll have a proper play in a couple of days and see.  :-\

Did you buy the Wagtail combo? Mine is made of aluminium. Stick with it, it's a brilliant bit of kit, far less strain on the wrist too. Dai

No, nothing like it. Although I've found the "contour" is a great tool especially for closing out.

That's it, i've got the sqeegee on it's own to try. Pop riveted together with a dimple punched in the channel to hold the rubber all very unimpressive so far, maybe the aluminium version is better. It's the action that interests me, if i get on with it i might get a flipper for inside work.
