Title: pressure hose burst at end???
Post by: drive surgeon on February 28, 2008, 05:14:54 pm
hi all, one of my pressure hoses has burst at one of the ends where it meets the metal inside,  will i need a new whole hose or can i get it fixed?  its not the actual hose thats split, i think its in the metal bit where it joins the hose inside.  its new to me as its not happened before,  ???

You may have a local guy who can fix it or Pirtek (they are a bit pricey but cheaper than buying a new hose).

Look in the yellow pages for a hydraulic hose dealer, the one I use charges me a tenner to re end a 3/8 hose.
