Ive heard it said that Ford makes more profit on selling parts than cars.

When I had a shop I had Tandy next door

Their profit was made on the small thingsnot a HI Fi or walkie Talkie

That said I want a new jet for my hand tool , I was thinking £2.50

Very true. I found an old pack of 5 resistors t'other day from Tandy. The price label had 69p on it. I suppose it must be around 15~20 years old.

All these years on and the same resistors can be bought for less than 2p each from RS, and RS is regarded as expensive!
