how often do you increase the price of domestic customers houses ? I try to do it every 2 yrs adding approx £1 per house, but i have some houses that i know would not stand for that, especially the elderly.

good to hear that dean ,it is hard to please every one,I do an estate where i have about 50 houses ,2yrs ago i put the price up from £5 till£6 ,I lost 1 customer,I am now thinking of putting it up to£7 ,to tell the truth i dont care if i lose customers because it means you can take on new customers  and set the price you want.

I do it all the time, did one today in fact. If I feel a price is too low I just tell them. Nicely.

inflation runs at about 3% so we put our prices up by 10% every 3 years but we always price up ahead of ourselves, so for example 3 bed semis, we are putting them up to £7 in May but all the semi's we have taken on for the last year or so are already priced at £7

Blimey! £7 for a semi, where are you? Its hard work doing a semi for that price.
