Is there a spray you can get to spray on fibre glass poles to thicken them up and stop them slipping
at the joins ???

just tighten up the bolt in the clamp assembley

I've tried that thanks ::)

im going to try spraying laccer on mine as ive heard it can help when you can no longer tighten the clamps.

a laquer or something would be good to protect from scratching, the fiberglass ones seem to scratch really easy, after a month or so are covered in scratches.

wax based furniture polish.
not joking it works a treat.

2 in 1 spray,you can get it from B&Q in a grey can.

Sounds like it needs binning if you need to put hair spray on it ::)

Thanks for the help lads ;)

I'm starting to get that problem.
Can't use mine full length, as it closes itself down a few inches with the first scrub. >:(
Don't want to have to start using the SL2 all the time.

Hammerite paint, works a treat, preventing your pole from slipping.
