Title: Damn it, my prefilters are Nacked!

Woke this morning went to van, uncovered my Pentek pre-filters(to protect from freezing) and they are both cracked, i now feel totally fed up and depressed! :( :(

That is a right pain.

One solution is to move to Spain or Cornwall!

Do you have to have the RO system in the Van? Could you have it in a garage and pipe the product into the Van?

Could you leave a heater on in the vehicle overnight? or a Dehumidifier as this will dry the vehicle and raise the temperature above freezing.

Yeah, i have for the past couple of years wrapped everything up well and not had a problem, but  a heater will be required for these cold mornings now!!
Do u stock the filter housings alex 10' x 2.
This has put me in very bad mood for the day :-[

MJH, where are you? I have 400 litres of 0ppm RO here at the mo, not needing anymore this week myself.

Your welcome if you have a sump pump.

If you need it it'll get you out of a fix until your prefilters arrive.

Some new ones on order now, delivered tomorrow, i am still mad with myself for letting this happen i just pray my membranes are not damaged, i will lose the will to live!!!

Thanks to Gaps water i am now up and running again, thankfully my main membranes seem ok ii insulated them well! Costly mistake.
