robert

with respect, where is your reason to buy? (offer) would have been better if you had done as mike and had them printed as coupons.

its an average simple leaflet, on card it might have a better quality feel to it but the truth is, its not about having a all singing-all dancing leaflet.......its about getting them in front of people noses, they won't get any work stuck in the garage ;)

how about going into the local newsagent on a Sunday morning and asking if you can put them in the morning papers

I've been think about using card for a while, It might make a difference, it has a sense of importance to it, like a parcel delivery card or an appointment card.

a leaflet is recognised as soon as it is picked up off the doorstep.

Ian, I've used "special offers" on cheaper leaflets before but they don't seem to work for me, so I've moved over to cards and no offers with a better response.

The post card seems better from many points:

  1.  Easy to carry and post, pushes past the flaps & brushes whithout ending up in a
crumpled mess on the other side of the door.

  2.   Easy to store for customer, notice board, handbag.

  3.   Because of its size can also double up as business card but is more visable.

Only had them yest. as prev. stated and have already been very lucky for me, as I attended a business seminar yest run by local radio station and on registration a business card/ postcard was put into a prize draw and I won a digital radio!

before I started carpet cleaning I started a business cleaning and sealing block paving my only form of advertising was post cards I put about 30.000 out locally and I got a decent return . Today a got a phone call from a postcard I delivered 2 years ago . I know it's expensive doing cards but it's got to be worth thinking about if people hold on to them so long

John, it works out from DP print at just over 1p for each card, not really that exspensive and I've had that same experience , people do keep cards.

DP  also sent samples for me to look at through email, one of them is of a yorkshireman waving at me.

Do you want to see it ?
