Cheers lads 99 quid sounds very reasonable to me! will take a look at that!
-
You need more than 5000 leaflets. I would get a quote for 20,000 minimum. Leaflets are very much cheaper the more you buy. And once you have them you have an incentive to go out and deliver them to get them out of your way.
-
i just want to target commercial at the minute, 20 k would surely take a life time to shift, but saying that you might only get 1 or 2 jobs per 1000/2000 if you are lucky!
What success have you guys had targeting the commercial sector with flyers? I am well aware calling in person is more effective but i wanted to try a different approach!
-
For commercial, call in person. Leaflets are for domestic.
-
i have picked up a reasonable amount of commercial through leaving my buisness card with buisnesses, i thought a flyer would contain more information and be more appealing.
-
I agree with Vince. Domestic are ok for flyers (i get maybe 1 call for every 100 flyers :) ) but for commercial I would put together a little pack with a letterhead, business card, wfp introduction letter, payment options, customer testimonials etc, and go in person to deliver them.
Plus, commercial might be where the money is, but it is a saturated market. Maybe concentrate on the domestic market? Reliabl;e regular WC's are stiull in short supply in most parts of the country.

worth alook at ???

I have tried information packs before and agree these are the more professional approach, commercial is competitive for sure but if you plug away at it there are good jobs to be had!!

If leaving your card has brought you in good commercial work why don't you staple it to a leaflet. Twice as much info.
Sanity who has told you that the commercial market is saturated - you keep believing that and I will worry about all the work you might have had.

Cheers Midas, i believe there is plenty of commercial to pick i have had a few half decent jobs this year, good shout about the buisness card!!

I personally would not use the approach - strictly a tie on and presenting a portfolio to the potential customer and then chasing the appointment to get the work.
I think if you are making the effort to drop a leaflet spend a bit more time on leaving them something that they are not necessarily going to throw away.
Don't go on volume but quality and present a really good, concise portfolio

I have in the past got my armani out for bigger quotations and the approach has worked! I guess if you contact on mass it can look lazy and takes away the personal touch that can win quality work!

You two have made some interesting points. But there is another option, a small leaflet.
You are right to choose dp, but the title of the thread, cheap flyers is not what you want.
-
Reasonably priced, quality literature!
-
Yes.
Do you know what you want to say? or are you happy to go with one of his standards? do you have jpegs of you and your business?
-
I've never hunted commercial but I expect the benefits heirachy is different. Insurance is a big deal. I'd be looking at five main points.
-
5 main points go on.......
-
I don't know I've never targeted commercial. Midas would know the five main points.
I'm saying that the points would be different to domestic.
I expect you would also need to be memorable and have some kind of hook.
I think it can be done, but i don't know enough about it. I've cracked domestic big time.
-
The points are similar to domestic its all about drive and determination, the main points are professionalism, selling an excellent service, and providing an excellent service, i dont think you can go far wrong with this approach! and of course pricing is a very important factor!

That's what i fancy next time, having a go at a brochure that explains all the benefits of dealing with my company. If you did this, but your target was commercial I think it could have some interesting results.
-
Hi Mr Solubility, i didn't realise this is your company do you have any examples.
-
It's not my company, that was copied from an email mark sent me and the prices probably aren't current. I was trying to highlight the brochure as a pro approach.
Yes, he can give you something off the shelf with your name on if that's what you want. When I say off the shelf they are all pretty good, and if you don't want to put a lot of work/time into it this is the best way.
-
Ah sorry mate i was mislead by that, i will contact them direct.
