I am a carpet cleaner and leave hoses and fluids in vehicle overnight (machine always in house)

I use a mains Greenhouse Fan Heater Model MP1 1250watts
Findlay, Irvine Ltd, Penecuik, near Edinburgh

Has a slow speed fan and a wide range thermostatic temperature control which I usually set on 2 (0-12)
which is very low temperature - somewhere not much above freezing but not checked it.
Keeps frost off inside of van windows (open cab/load area in mine)

I use a fan heater from B&Q, cost £10. Set fan speed to 1 temp to halfway, keep the temp above freezing.

I park on the road so cant get a cable to it.

I wrap an old duvet round the TM engine and leave a camping gaz heater running on low in there.

I cant afford a truck heater, thought about the green house heater but the above about the soot put me off, having said that its better than a new engine etc if it freezes.

Any other ideas appreciated as I'm away for a few days and I havent got anywhere to park and plug it in.

So far so good. (fingers crossed).
