I've a few jobs where I'd love to spray something around the windows! The spider & fly spots drive me mad in summer!

gofish i was thinking of offering some  sort of service that gets rid of spiders for the summer as most of my customers are tortured with them.ive heard of people getting their house sprayed which gets rid of them and people round here have paid big money for this service.it is just a thought at the moment but theres not much info about it.the closest ive got is deltamethrin-has anyone ever used this?

Hi Darren,I`m `torchured` with em`,spiders webs I mean! It`s every springtime
With myself.I do quite a bit of work near a river, that makes things worse as I
Understand it.Spiders and their web repellents can be obtained from sometimes
The local council.Having said that as I also understand it you do have to obtain
Permission before proceding and get someone up from the appropriate department.
It can be classed as a possible hazard  to birds and wildlife, but it is a formality I think.
Nevertheless it has to be gone thru`.

so you reckon contacting the council would be a good move,i was thinking to brush around window frames, give walls a quick spray and mayby gutterings and ground edge around the house it would probably take 2 hours max and if i chargedŁ70 plus cost of chemicals it would be a nice earner and if it worked out i could start canvassing any houses near rivers just for the spider treatment, the stuff i was looking at lasts around 10 weeks so twice a year would be sufficient.i dont know much about using insecticides and am not getting much help on the pest control forum-they politely told me to stick to windowcleaning but i will keep looking,if anyone has ever used insecticides please give me some information-cheers
