Have seen a few posts on here for pricing per window . What do you class as a window ? ........ a single window pain or the whole of the windows within the frame ?
-
In my book 1 window is 1 top opener with 1 under it and 1 beside it,big gergion bays i treat as 3-4 window`s in some cases and charge according.Add em up to the price you want per window and add 10% on top.

Pricing has got to be the hardest part of this job . Back in my decorating days there was an industry standard for charging per roll off wallpaper , square metre of paint etc .
-
If you add the 10% it should put you either pretty close or slightly over, never go in under.

What about conservatries ?
-
Jonah, i charge per pane of glass. In the main it works out. Conservatories tend to be the exception. Often large single panes. If the house has several panes per window, then it's ok.

Peter can i ask how much you charge for each pain ? Sorry to bother you but I have been asked to price a job and it is doing my head in :'(
-
Jonah, now i charge 50p. If there are alot of panes within windows may consider 40p.
Hope that helps.
