I have tried to avoid cleaning gutters but so many have asked me for it , how do you price for cleaning it , and what kit do you use ? .......please ;D
-
I've done three this week with wfp and have to say even with a very light pole and brush it's still not a pleasant job. I always underprice buy applying my hourly rate. Sounds good but cleaning windows is far easier. :)

try charging £3 per meter then work out how many meters of gutter there is
-
sorry meant cleaning the insides ! Have heard people charging £25 a side ! Is this the norm ?
-
i use a ladder ;D and an unger 6ft pole with a gutter tool from soap national on the end,a ladder hook for your bucket ,gloves and some good thick refuse bags.I price by the mtr (roughly the distance between two clips on long runs on modern houses) what you charge is up to you but must be 2 quid minimum ;D

Just been looking at a gutter vac ! That is the best bit of cleaning kit to ever make a good living .
-
for me, standard house, front and back, clear them out and wipe them over, £50,
people dont say no because they cant do it, except one that said no, hmmmm
-
£2.50/metre for cleaning the outsides OR cleaning the insides out, £3.50/metre for both.

pricing by the metre to me sounds like hard work ! For the average house ie terrace or semi like the idea of £25 a side .

Just count the number of brackets holding the gutter up, thats your meterage.
