Bubbles,

This question has been asked and answered many times.

Read through the posts in the 'Frequently asked questions' section of this forum and you may wish to also visit www.another forum.co.uk where there is a section devoted to start-up advice.

I would emphasise the advice on training as the very first step - with a little knowledge of what is required you will be better equiped not only to decide if this industry is for you, but to make a better judgement on machinery required.

Extracta (Gateshead) is near you.
www.extracta.co.uk

Go to their show room and their training course which is held at their premesis.

Ask for Brian or John, couple of really nice blokes, this will get you started.

Phil
