Title: Disposal of old resin

Just wondered what you do with your old resin lads to dispose of it

i just empty the water from di cotainer down drain n pour the old resin in a bag  and bin it.. thats when the resin doesnt come out down dran when pouring the excess water out lol

yes thats all i do but i just wondered if pouring it down the drain or just binning it is hazardous

Wash it down the main drain. It flows nicely with lots of water.

ill start doing that as well then the lot down the drain. i wasnt sure if was ok or not so didnt :-\

Its only plastic beads anyway. It looks funny, but I think its ok, its not toxic or anything. Anyway when you clear out the Di the stuff has to go somewhere in my case its on the ground near the drain so that's where it happy going, just flush it well.
I did try putting it on the garden, but is doesnt rot down.  (That was just joking, ok?)

Don't let the water board see you putting it down the drain, you could be fined big money.

With all the minerals in it , it could be a good for growing plants. How about conducting an experiment and planting some seeds in a pot of it. Dai
