Title: TDS OUT OF DI
Post by: *john garnett on February 13, 2008, 04:58:00 pm: I HAVE A 40x40 FROM CLEANTECH AND THE TDS FROM THE RO IS READING 36 - IS THIS NORMAL? THE TDS AFTER THE DI IS SHOWING 3. WHAT DO YOU THINK? SHOULD I CHANGE THE RESIN OR THE RO MEMRANE? THANKS FOR UR HELP.

is it new ? if it is it needs washing through, same happened on my 4040, do you flush it ? mine 4040 is reading 17/22 was at 36

007 010 :o I used to change mine at 001 because pure water is 000.

Stve do you have twin di's ?

I did thins and still going on the same resin ages down the line where before it was every couple of weeks

run twin softening resin re charge whith b &q salt will bring your tds down to 6/10
