Title: tool insurance
Post by: steve doyle on February 11, 2008, 08:07:55 pm
I dont have cover for in the van or on site but dont leave my gear un attended (so far so good!)

However the house cover excludes business equipment so effectively if anything was nicked from home i wouldent be covered.

so 2 reasons for the post,

1. check your own house insurance covers your tools incase your broken into.
2. Has anyone took out seperate tool cover for home, (i already have liability so just want tools at home)? or know where i can get it? cost etc?

cheers

steve

i aint got my equipment insured either, i know im taking a chance but i got more outgoings than incomings. the direct debits just get more and more its madness.  i know i will have to get it tho as its imperitive! :(
