I use the Addis brush, but you have to be quite careful not to damage frames, paintwork etc, because of the hard plastic edge.
Does anyone have a clever solution to this,I've tried several different things but they never last very long, thanks for any advice,
Tim

Chamfer a good 1/2" off the ends nearly up to the bristles with a surform. It will allow the brush to splay better so that the bristles get into the edges and corners and the head wont come into contact with the frames.

billygoat hell man,
how do you stop it from jumping around?
great scrubber though

I really get on with it,I've tried all sorts of brushes but I keep coming back to this.
Jeff, I've tried that but still found you have to be very careful,
Any other suggestions, most welcome :)

I use one too, love it. It's got to be the soft one mind or it will jump about. Mine splays with very little pressure - i just wish it had more bristles. Never had any trouble bashing the frames really.

I bought a weird looking brush the other day and i thought it would be good for cleaning gutters and facia boards with.
Now ive got my cam back ill take a few pics of it tomorrow...
It came with a 3 ft pole and a angle adapter for £4.99, its weird looking, triangle shape but i think Jeff B will find a job for it.

I used the addis brush for along time, but it does wear out quickly and they will leave faint black/grey lines onwhite upvc frames, but they are very light.
I have now changed to a Vikan sill brush which is alot heaveir but does a better job an dlast alot longer.

got to say the jumping around is due to the short length of the the thing
tried sthing similar but with longer length---no jumping
very firm

Thats the conclusion my missus came to.
