Can anyone help?? we have some dark stains on our leather reception chairs. It's believed that they have come from a rather hot gentleman in new jeans! Any ideas on how to get them off? we've tried leather wipes which have lightened the marks but they're still visible. ???

Hello
The problem you have would seem to be that of dye transfer. There are specific products that have been formulated for this problem which can be very effective.
As we would need to know a few more details before we can give specific advice please either telephone us on 01423 881027 or visit our website www.LTTsolution.net for further information.
Kind regards

I swear by Johnsons baby Oil wipes on leather - but make sure you try them on an inconspicuous area first.

Hello
It is not a good idea to use baby wipes on leather. We have seen instances where baby wipes have damaged the coatings on leather and from this experience we would not recommend them for general use on leather. There are specailly formulated wipes for leather available but we would still recommend that appropriate cleaners and protectors are used.
Testing on inconspicuous areas while still good practice cannot always give you an indication of what will happen on areas of the furniture that have been used. Finishes on leather will react in very different ways on individual areas of the furniture.
