Do a search David, this has been discussed at length in the past and I think you'll find what you want.

Welcome to the forum.

Something a long the lines of this :

Dear Customer,

We are pleased to inform all our clients of some important changes we have made to our business.

Your windows will be cleaned in future using a method, which will soon be the industry standard. As a company wanting to be at the forefront of our industry, we have decided to invest in this technology which involves the use of water fed telescopic poles and 100% pure water, which we filter through reverse osmosis units and deionisation resin.

We are using this technology for a number of reasons.

Health and safety

Legislation being brought in from Europe will limit the use of ladders as temporary workstations. The law now states that ladders can only be used when all viable alternatives have been considered, and now water fed pole systems are seen as a safer viable alternative. Accidents do happen as quite a few Window Cleaners fall off the ladder.
If we can do the job to a high standard whilst standing on the ground so much the better. Also we have been forced to pay an increasingly higher public liability insurance premium, which is becoming unaffordable for the use of ladders.

Better cleaning results

The major advantage of the “Water-fed pole” is that only 100% pure filtered water is used, eliminating the need for detergents and chemicals. As your windows will be brushed clean your frames will be cleaned at the same time.

A word of warning : This process involves brushing your windows clean then rinsed off with pure water. As such they will be left wet and will need some time to dry naturally. Because we use 100% pure water, the windows dry spotless. This may be a bit disconcerting at first, as obviously this is not what our customers are used to. Please note that over the space of two or three visits the process will `leach` all deposits from around the frames, resulting in an improved finish each time, until ultimately the finish will be better than the traditional method.

We can now also clean all aspects of your property.

Frames, Conservatory Roofs, UPVC, Panelling, Canopies, Guttering, Fascias, Garage Doors etc.

I hope this has covered everything, and have explained the increased benefits. Our aim is to continue to give a high level of service. Please feel free to phone or email to discuss any part of the above or indeed any other aspect of our service. Alternatively, if you happen to be at home the next time we clean your property, feel free to ask us for more information, or of course a demonstration of the system.

If you have any concerns about this new way of cleaning your windows please let me know and we will endeavour to alleviate your concerns.

Yours Thankfully,

Or here's mine:

LIONHEART WINDOW CLEANING

Dear Valued Customer,

Due to recently introduced Health & Safety legislation (European Work at Height Regulations 2005) regarding the use of ladders for cleaning and access, we are now starting to use a PURE WATER POLE CLEANING SYSTEM to clean some, if not all of your windows.

How does it work?
The Pure Water System incorporates a 5 stage water purification process that removes all impurities from the water including particulates, chlorines and carbons, this Pure Water is then stored in a large tanked fitted to the vehicle. When required, the water is pumped from the tank through pipe-work to a jetted brush head on the end of a pole.  The windows, frames and sills are then jetted, washed and brushed to remove all dirt.  The final stage of the process is where the brush is lifted away from the window, the window is spray rinsed with Pure Water and left to dry naturally.

The Advantages
•   Safety, no ladders to fall off!
•   Privacy
•   Environmentally friendly, no detergents are required
•   Frames can be cleaned along with the glass
•   Previously inaccessible windows can now be cleaned safely
•   We can now also clean conservatory roofs, fascias, etc
•   Windows can be cleaned in almost all weather conditions
•   Because there is no detergent residue, windows stay cleaner longer

The changes you will notice
•   The windows will be left wet, but they will dry streak and smear free
•   For the first one or two times you may see small white spots on your windows, this is detergent residue from previous cleans

I appreciate that this is a big change, but we have been using this system on all our commercial cleaning and some domestic cleaning for several years now and the feedback and results have been excellent.

We guarantee a quality service every time.  If you have any concerns please feel free to call me on 01665 713448 or catch us whilst we are cleaning.
