Title: Loyal Customers.

The phone has been ringing off the hook today.  Well nearly.   
HAd a handfull of my older customers phoning to say that there has been a new window cleaner canvassing the area.

The one lady gave me the flyer when I did her windows today.  ( the flyer looks good actually, might pinch a few design ideas ;) ;)0

She told me the make of car he was driving and said I should find him and send him away from my patch.     I reasured her that there are plenty of houses to go round and judging by his flyer he will have to travel about 40 miles to get here. 

Had 2 messages on my answer phone telling me that there was someone trying to poach my customers. 

I must say I'm rather touched that my customers are so protective and loyal. 

When I put my prices up in April they will be phoning this other fellow up for a quote ;D ;D

Strange things customers arent they.

i had very similar about a year and half ago on a choice bit of my round some bloke put flyers in every house quoting 5 quid on every regardless of size(they range from 8 to 16 quid) i got 5 flyers and a mention about it from every customer . strange thing was landline on flyer was for Hunstanton about 40 miles away!!!!! WHY ??? ???

I know..   I want to expand my round but , in and around my current round.  Not on the other side of the country. ;D ;D

40 miles is a long way to travel - he must think it's worth it, I wouldn't.

my guess .....dole boys who dont want to get spotted on their doorstep or ....worse burglars(happens more than you think)

I like getting others flyer, I have some old ladies myself that give me other peoples flyers, I look after them well and make them tea when I clean there windows because they cant do it themselves.

I have one customer thats not going anywhere even if she was quoted £1 for her house I get post cards when she goes on holiday even offered a key for her house so if shes out I can make myself a drink.

Same customer phoned me today to inform me that these new cleaners were 'Actually Cleaning' a property down the road from her.    LOL

I dont think they are dole boys cos they have uniform and sign written van etc. 
I have noticed a load of spelling mistakes in the flyer tho.  ( I havent been studying it too hard honest) ;D :D ;D :D
