awesome, maybe he just wanted a drink from the pole spraying up when you dropped it.
I have one customer who is never home, but everytime i arrive, there is a little strange looking dog sitting there ontop of a couch on his own little special bed right next to the window looking at me, you could think it was some intelligent alien creature hiding in dog form, it would never bark just sit there watching me as i hid its face in the spray from the pole.

It can be a nuissance sometimes with dogs barking all the time your there, or animal doodoos everywhere

I hate Alsatians/German Sheppards i was bitten by one when i was very young and it has left a mental scar so much so that if i see one my heart races if the customer has one i will not go near the house untill they remove it well away from where i will be working and they all do it when they see my van pull up outside they have all been warned i will drop the job if i get bitten  >:(

If you show fear to a German Shepard they will bite you, just stand still hands down by your side and talk to the dog in a clam manner showing it your no threat, they may push there nose into you and this gives people a fear of them and think they are going to bite, were in fact they are checking you out.
I was once putting my gear away and winding my hose away, the hose got tight and then went loose then tight again, then all of a sudden around the corner comes a German Shepard with the tennis ball I have on the end of my hose, stuck in his mouth, the only way I could get the end of my hose and tennis ball back was to turn it into a game.
The worse type of dog for annoying me is the little ones that run at the windows and never stop yapping until you leave.

Here's my Dog keeping a check on my car.

Pro clean, what dogs are they? they look gorgeous, I thought the first were mastiffs but I thought the others were a couple of pit bulls, and the one looks like a staffie....I shouldn't be replying to this...I should be moving it to the other part the forum...but i love dogs!
hell, I might even pop one of my Vinnie on here (a Staffie)
Trying to find a way of justifying a way of leaving it on the window cleaning section :-\
Window cleaners dogs...a lighthearted topic, mixed in with anecdotes about doggie confrontations...near enough  ;)

I would have done it differently.  I would have sent them a letter wishing them luck with their new window cleaner.

Heres a piccie of my dogs.  not a great photo but hey, they like to cuddle.
The brindley one is meg, a staffie / greyhound cross.  and the white oddball is Jumbo joe an ex racer.  Great dogs, soft as gg3 but joe likes to abuse his lipstick on an hourly basis.  Dirty doggy

The first one of the big dog is an American Bandogge Mastiff. The rest are what you think they are. I also have a Presa Canario which belongs to my partner.

I appologise for laughing, it's not funny really.
I was bitten once at the back of my left ankle by a dog whist I was carrying a ladder and a bucket. The dog sank his teeth well and truly into me so I went down the police station and reported the owner of the dog. The owner had to fit a muzzle on her dog when it was outdoors. After a short time she stopped bothering to fit a muzzle and the dog soon bit a little child on his face really badly so the parents reported it to the police and because it was the second time it had been reported the dog was put down. Thank goodness.
Why should vulnerable people, the weak and the elderly have to live in fear of irresponsible dog owners who can't control their dogs. I never use to be scared of dogs, I've had a few myself, but all it takes is one serious bite to make you jumpy and nervous around dogs. I know dogs can sense fear. Although dogs don't bother me too much, sometimes I get nervous around particular breeds. I would rather kick one to the ground, then wait for it to sink it's teeth into me nowadays and face the consequences afterwards. The law is ar** when it comes to animals biting humans. I'd like to see it changed dramatically in favour of people rather than dogs.
I use to clean a custies house whose dog was really vicious. I told her I would phone the eve before so she would keep her dog indoors whilst she was at work, she agreed. Next day, drove up the drive and her dog is trying to attack my doormirror, so I left a note to say: "Thank-you for keeping your dog indoors as promised, your dog tried to attack my van door mirrors. I won't be calling again, EVER, find yourself another window cleaner".
