if i am willing to buy used equipment, how much would it cost to get a truck mounted system set up??

£5k for a entry model upto £12k for a top of the range model, all depends on how old it is & condition.

Prowler seems a popular choice at the moment. £6000 +vat NEW + van of course.

I think if i was going to buy a truck mount, i wouldn't bother with a second hand one.  £6000 for a new one with warranty sounds very reasonable.
