Title: how long you been wfp
Post by: d s windowcleaning on February 03, 2008, 04:43:30 pm
just wondered how long you had been wfp & would you consider going back trad on a full time basis . ive been wfp for over 2 years now and would not consider going back trad . unless i was forced into this by a drought order .

About two and a half years for me and dithered for a year making my mind up before that
Would i go back to ladders?  only if forced really dont want to do that anymore i like not being totally knackered at the end of a long day
If a hose pipe ban was permanant then i would look into other ways of making a living as i have dodgy ankles and ladder work is not for me anymore

2 years 4 months here.  The thought of reverting to trad full time would be a nightmare.  The only trad work I do now is a bit of inside work and a few elderly peoples bungalows.

9 months wfp for (hasn't that gone quickly? :o)

I would want to go back to full time trad, as I can't bothered with ladders.
I've got no problem with squeegee work downstairs though, and I do nearly all bungalows by hand to save time and bother.

I have been WFP now for 2 years but I am also traditional, more trad than WFP.
I find it works for me and enjoy the world of window cleaning.

Traditional 25 years wfp for about 6 years.
I wouldn't want to go back now, I am so slow with the squeegie now.
Fell off my ladder too many times, rolled down a sloping roof once, and just managed to hold on, not going to do that again !
Far too many 3 storey buildings on the round now.

Blessings,

Graeme
