my uncle just bought a smart transit of the same year with 60,000 miles on the clock for £800 and it IS mint

I'm sure he will find that out soon enough. I take your point though. I would probably struggle to get that for my van (an 03 plate Renault Trafic).

I will probably try to sell it on here around October 2010 when I've finished repaying the loan on it (when it will be nearly 8 years old with 90,000+ miles). Watch this space ;D

Just looked at the battery in his van, its a car battery and there not designed for constant deep discharge, you won't get 10hrs out of it, and you will be lucky if its any good at all.

like anything its only worth what somebodys willing to pay.i find it a bit strange how excited you are all getting by it, emailing the guy for no reason is a bit sad.
