Title: Carpet cleaners who are Non-NCCA members:
Post by: DavidWright76 on January 31, 2008, 08:44:11 pm
Do you get much work?
I am planning on setting up a carpet cleaning business and will be attending the NCCA 2-day carpet cleaning course that starts on the 8th of Feb. I was just wondering if it would be worthwhile becoming a member of the NCCA or not. Did any of you who when they first got the ball rolling have any trouble getting jobs without the NCCA badge?

24 years as a carpet cleaner but only been NCCA member for last 3 years ................ getting work i would not have got in the past.
Never stopped me getting jobs but i do wish i had done it sooner ............ personal choice for people but i would not wish to be NON member  ;)

we did 12 years without fine, but since a member for last year and a half, have got extra jobs from them and would say they have been near the higher end of the market and more than makes up for the member fee.

It's not just the business you get (for me it's some but I'll never retire on it) or the fact that it's usually better quality and better paid.

I really appreciate the magazine which is full or really useful articles and builds up into a really good resource manual.

I am a member fut don't actively use the fact in any of my advertising.
