Can window cleaners licensed by Fife Council please contact the SLWCN through the contacts page http://www.slwcn.org/contact.php.
The SLWCN have been asked by Fife Council to discuss with them the problems with licensing so we need as much information from local window cleaners in the area.
SLWCN members in Fife will be receiving a questionare soon.
Thanks

Many thanks for the feedback , did not realise what a huge problem there is. If some of you guys think you have got it bad a lot of these guys struggle trying to get £3.50 a house. As soon as the price goes up the customer opts for a cheaper window cleaner which is often enough the beer brigade.
How they can earn a decent living beats me.
Meeting will be held on Wednesday and I think there will be a few red faces with the evidence provided.
Here's hoping that we can get those prices up and customers value their bonified window cleaners.

Cheers Shammy,
I was aware of that as we have been pushing for it to happen. Had to give them a bit of history on the Civic Act ;D. I need to speak to the head of licensing as there are a couple of issues that need addressing.
Good news though, more Councils are following.
And with ACPOS receiving a report very soon don't be surprised if you see the SWAT team out. ;)

Hi Steven,
Welcome, it will be the best move you will make.
There is a SLWCN leaflet coming out soon where members can advertise their serivce on the leaflet.
It outlines the benefit of using a licensed window cleaner and is backed by Fife Council and Police.
Once you have joined we will inform you once it has been approved by Fife Council.
