Hi Alex, i have the same problem as mba.
only, i have the the micro sediment 5, the coconut and the chlro 10
but on your package of 3 pre-filters, it says the coconut is the chlorine one..
my r/o is pictured above... my coconut is also dark brown..
im confused, please help ;) i simply want to order all 3 but i dont want them to be different to my old ones in any way,
it dont take much to confuse me ha,

For some reason we have never worked out RO-Man specs his RO Systems with a heavy metal final stage chlorine filter. This really isn't necessary for these type of systems. Both of the left hand filters (ie, everything but the sediment filter) help remove chlorine amongst other things. The pack of 3 filters that we supply are as recommended by RO-Man as replacements for his units.

thanks for the quick reply alex,
i will order them now, my inline filter is having fun too , all the wires have come out,
bad luck follows me around, and to make matters worse i have misplaced my hand held tds meter.... so i just hope the water goes down to zero in the ususal way after a couple of minutes....
i am worried that although the worn filters are slowing the pure water process down,.. that it still goes down to zero... what a night.

so insted of the chloro10 Alex, what would i use?........ another coconut one?
-
You would use a granular activated carbon one (GAC).
-
Thanks Alex.
-
the final stage filter, i think, is for water taste more than anything.

Thanks again Alex,
on your page its states where the filters go.. left right centre etc..
does it matter? hope not as my ro-man is different to what you are saying....
but its clearly labelled...... from right to left.... sediment 5... coconut, then chlor 10
Thanks.
Gary.

gazza, it's easy if you take 1 out at a time. You just replace the same looking filter with the other.

Hi Mark, its the chlor 10.. far left.... carbon , coconut in the middle... they look identical,,,,so i am going off the labels.... (pic above in first thread)
But Alex's are stating opposite to mine, so just want to get it right.
-
sorry if i gave you the wrong info gazza. I was convinced they all looked a little different when i changed mine.

Replace 'like for like' apart from the chlor 10 which gets the GAC filter.

I'm sure it will. I'm just about to leave my desk and drive up to the office, if it is not already in hand I will make sure that it gets out to you today. (when it is delivered is anyone guess though!!)
