Welcome to the forum Scotman,

Door knocking is essential - potential customers see you face to face gives them some impression of who you are. You can also build a relationship with them immediately.

Hope all goes well.

Once you have dropped the leaflets go back a couple of days later and door knock and introduce yourself , this will always work. ;D

Door knocking is the best way, from your comments I'm presuming you are licensed. If you are it is a very good selling tool, find out where the new builds are in the area. Or even better still try rural farms etc.. as you can get good work out there. It does take time but you will get there in the end.

If you are licensed check our website below  ;)

Yes, I'd done the same, seems like you started up again last April and had picked up a lot of "nice" expensive jobs through door knocking and were loving it.

Now your asking the same question again 10 months later??

What's happened to the £2k of work you got back then? ???

That in itself would be close to being enough for most sole traders to make a reasonable income
