Hi all,
I have a Truck Mount customer in Italy who specialises in cleaning boats and yachts, but he has a problem with the 2" ribbed vacuum hoses putting hair line scratches on the wood floors between the carpets.
He wants to buy fabric hose sleeves in 50 foot lengths, has anyone ever heard of such thing?
I really would appreciate some help with this one.
Thanks

Hi Steve
I would suggest you contact a sail maker they would have material and machinery big enough to do this, the biigest local to us is Plymouth sial maker 01725 606983 they may know of someone a little closer to you. if not give me a call I will be happy to liase with them being more local if you like.
Best regards Nick

my wife has long legs & her fishnet stockings would make ideal hose sleeves but sadly her legs arn,t 50 foot long.

Big thanks to Nick & Glynn,
Both different but great sugestions, my customer has gone away to price both options, unfortunatly for Nick he has a sail maker in Milan!
I will find out what route he takes and how well his choice worked, then post pics or details on site.
Cheers again,
Happy Christmas & prosperous New Year to you all!

I made my own with just sheets sewn so as to make a 50 ft tube so to speak.Best, Dave.

All you need to do, is to measure the hoses circumference, and get 50 feet of cloth that is slightly wider than the circumference. Sew on velcro down the length so the material wraps around the hose and is enclosed right down it's length. Obviously make sure the hose is straight when you wrap them.
If you make the cloth wider, you can wrap both the vac and solution hose.
