Used to do it my escort van and it worked a treat.
In the summer you can increase the mix massiveley as the warm weather sets in.
Be sure to keep the reciepts and put through the books as if you dont declare what you are doing it is illegal.

Do you filter the chip particles out first, if so, how? Or do you just use new oil? You could use used stuff and filter it/de-water it.

yeh tell us how you do it

are you saying 50%oil and 50% diesel?

Its not suited to all vehicles. The rubber sealing rings in the peaugot fuel pump perish as my mate found out all to soon. The vw van i used to have was great on it as was my mondeo. I have collegue who is a clever sod and he runs his DIESEL van on vege oil and LPG. We used to courier work together all over europe

A mate of mine is a mechanic, he loves people running cars on veg oil.. he did seven engine rebuilds last year, keeps him busy with them all going bang. You wont find me going near the stuff with my diesel van.

rapeseed oil is the best but you need to change your filters more often , 50/50 works great for me

Start with a tiny ammount and build up to it as one time my escort started to stutter a bit after i got a bit carried away but once you find the right consistency your away.

I have an 02 astra diesel and its the better engine the isuzu engine. Would it work on that as the newer engines have smaller jets and if they get clogged up the its loads of lolly to fix.

hi again it does not work on newer engines becouse they are so complicated but is perfectly ok on the olderones and l just add fresh unused vegetable oil 70 p a liter from costco
