not sure he showed me what dirt was in my matress and believe me it was minginig picked up the sand in m y carpet do u have 1?

They are good but not worth £2000 :o
This crazy price tag as with any vacuum where a salesman visits your home is mostly commission.
If you want a superb commercial upright look no further than a sebo and save £1800 or buy 10 sebo's ;D

Hi
Go to ebay and put in kirby as a search and there will be a few for sale.
A new one is very pricey but they are good machine.

Blimey,
There is an ancient, huge old Kirby complete with all the attachments sitting gathering cobwebs in our church.
Is this worth something? ???

Hi I have a Kirby, had it 7 years still superb.
Haggle with them and I bet you will get for £1000
Better still second hand, couple of years old £200 - £300

Never had a Kirby. What makes them better than any over vac
-
Hi
The Kirby was designed in 1929 and the head is offset. This makes the head vibrate and litterally shakes all the dirt and dust out of the carpet or matteress.
Amazing putting a kirby over a mattress, if you use their filter, blacken it with boot polish, so many dust mites come out the mass is almost moving. In fact if you put it under a microscope it would be!
