My resin vessels were filled by the manufacturer and because my tds is so low since I've had the system over 5 months now I havent needed to change the resin. But I thought I will give it a go opening the vessel up so I know how to do it when I really need to, but I just cant!!!! is it a screw top?? I dont want to break it by being heavy handed!! Luke

Yes it is threaded, do you not have the large plastic spanner that should have come with the system?

Ive been getting everything ready for a big day tomorrow!! Luke

are you on about the clear glass/plastic cover or the inner cannister

I had the same problem Luke
yes they are threaded and they unscrew anti clockwise
i ended up clamping mine in a workmate bench and using brute force ;D take care with the inlet and outlets on them though as I snapped one of them off ::)

luke, no such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer, that's what this forum is about ;)

lukes resin vessels are the blue pressure vessels, not the small 1ltr containers.
yes luke they are threaded, right hand thread and can be awkward to take off as the beggers are hard to grip right.
try locking it between your legs and twisting the head off.
calm down rosy!!
