I see no reason why a well run window cleaning business couldn't generate profits of £100,000 for the owner. Personally I do not see the need to get a franchise when this type of business is so simple to run!

Most would not be able to achieve this, but I see no reason why a highly motivated, hard working individual could not achieve this kind of profit!

What would you say is the most that an individual window cleaner could turn over on his own? I would say that £60k is very achievable for a hard working, motivated individual. Now this business is all about cavassing for customers and employing staff to do the work for you, so lets say that you employed 10 window cleaners all turning over £60k, then that is a turnover of £600k. This is obviously not easy, but I believe that the right person could achieve this with a lot of hard work.

groundhog one bloke doing 60k with NO WEEKENDS = 240 pound a day whatever the weather day in day out , how many one man bands reckon they could do that all year even if they wanted to ( ps you get no holidays at all ) if you have no life outside work then sign up

duplication   duplication  duplication  duplication  duplication

I could go on but it would get boring
all the big firms use the same system ,tesco asda m&s we live in a world of big firms and all this guy is offering is the same
we can all do it if you really want it
The question is  do you ?

also add on to that daily rate however much extra you need to earn to repay your 25k investment.....unless of course you just pulled it out your backside ;D personally i aint that "motivated" i work for my self to give me flexibilty in my regime not to spend all hours chasing cash

I see where you are both coming from but at a guess if I said on domestic
for me to earn a huge earning
I would have to do
20 houses a day
100 houses per week
400 per month
now multiply by £15 per house then that is £72K
that also gives you scope for 4 weeks holiday as 13 months in 52 winda cleana year

But you are not facturing in winter months hard to do 20 £15 pound houses
car problems weather problems sickness so on and so on

I can see this being achievable in a perfect world but then multiplying said perfect world x 10 is near on impossible even for the right sort of person
and you would need 4000 houses on the books

Imagine how long that would take to build that up?

do we rest our case to the dragons den or not ?????

I would sell a franchise it does make sense

this is real Devils advocate now

offer a van that they have to pay for after 3 months £200 per month inc vat
you give them £18,000 worth of work this would be 100 £15 houses

now you would have to sell this and the uniform van and the like for say £15K

you can have all the equipment in there for that too WFP and a Point and a double extension scrims microfibre the lott

now a loan for a 5 years for 15K is about £300 per month so add the van on top and you have expenses going out at £500 per month and income
£1500 per month

that is a 1k profit and all you got to do is add on more work which could be supplied from advertising from the central franchise number and advertising

although I feel that there figures are off the mark a reasonable level of income could be acheivable

Confussed J

 ???

You said it yourself , your not that motivated, most people aren't, but that dosn't mean it can't be done. You have to really want to succeed and to make a better life for yourself, you also need to be able to see beyond the one man band mentality.

Eddie- it says 57 on their posting.
I would never pay for any work when you can go out and sell yourself and your company.
I stop my van at the drop of a hat if I think I can pick up more good work.
Started 4 years ago after leaving leisure(health and safety) and never looked back.
Now got a good business with two employees and going on for 900 clients and we still want more.
If there is scope to grow I will do it as the money you can make is astounding.

New people on here looking to start up should be asking the experienced ones of how to go about getting started, gaining clients, good reputation not buying work that you could lose within a month.
Good Luck
