If my piston is all limp  ;D and not generating any air pressure does that mean my sprayer is buggered?

Is it a gloria?

If its a good one they should go on forever, just seals may go, but even thats rare.

Hi

Inside the plunger mechanism is a seal, try to take it apart & see if the seal has perished.

The people you bought it off should be able to help with spares.

Hi Pete,
Sounds like seal has come off the plunger when it goes dry this can happen, if stretched or damaged you may need a replacement seal for the plunger, Bit like a bike pump when it loses resistance.

Cheers Paul

I had a similar problem.
Dismantled the pluger tube and there was a screw loose.

For the price of these things the long lasting quality is really poor. I've had the same problems with the Gloria and also now the Alta. I even greased the tube up but didn't help either.

it will be the larger rubber seal in the plunger, spray wd40 down the tube every now and then, works for me,
