Title: Upholstery Cleaning.
Post by: tony harrison on November 26, 2004, 05:12:39 pm
 Hi,

Anyone got any ideas where I can buy drop cloths ( cloths to work on while cleaning suites).

The last time I bought some it was from Spurgens ( Baneclene ) they have been ok, wash easy enough, but slightly small and  but was wondering if there is an alternative.

regards Tony Harrison.

I use painter & decorator  drop cloths 14ft x 14ft £13 I don't know what they are made off but they seem to have a certain amount of water proofing. I buy them at the builders merchant.

Just bought a good one from Dulux Trade Centre best quality cotton twill 12' x 9' £16.00 (Account price).  I've been trying for years to find replacements for my 20 year old Prochem drop sheets, they used to be very closely woven and waterproof.  All I can buy from distributors now are cheap lightweight cloths which let water through.  I'm very pleased with the Dulux sheet.

I got heavy duty canvass sheets made up (Nothing gets through) at a local tarpaulin manufactureres, not cheap but better than cloths.
