Title: Telescopic pole question:
Post by: frames to panes on January 17, 2008, 07:25:02 pm
Having only had a short foray into telescopic poles (a crap extender and an aweful xel) i have been 100% modular ever since. Those of you with telescopics - do you extend each section fully i.e. first section right out then the next and so on or do you extend part sections to reduce wear and stiffen the pole? If you see what i mean. :)

If you have to do this then you have a pole not designed for the job or you bought cheap rubbish or both :D

Mine? fully extended sections every time (apart from minor adjustments for specific height). solid, exclusive use & abuse for 14 months on tops & bottoms.

Clamp adjustment? one clamp half a turn ;) not bad eh?
