The evil daddy!! and an expensive one as well....
I would be interested to hear how much your paying for treatment risk insurance and from who?
Mine cost me nearly £1,500 a year from Camberford - had difficulty find anyone else to cover treatment risk

Everyones circumstances will differ and so affect the premiums quoted but, as a one man band employing my wife and occasional part time casual, my combined Employers (£10m), Public (£2m) and Treatment (£2m) risk policy was about £460 last year. Renewal due in the next 2 weeks, so awaiting a letter to drop on the mat :(
Safe and happy cleaning :)

hi there,
i am with camberford law, yes i agree it is expensive, but i am sure that its worth the money. and really you just factor the cost into your yearly turnover.
If however you do only have a low turnover then paying out £1500 plus will hit the bottom line.

Whoops :-[
HSBC
Mac Lloyd is excellent value, but check that the treatment risk is sufficient. A colleague of mine cleaned a suite a couple of weeks ago costing £7k, so their £5k starter policy would be insufficient. Tomorrow I'll be cleaning carpet worth at least £100k and if something went wrong the logistics aspect alone would probably increase that by at least 50%. Beware.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Well there is certainly big differences with what people are paying, I think I'm gonna take some take and do some ringing around... Again!
Can I get some phone numbers, I'll post my findings

HSBC are in Bournemouth 01202 455545
Check with all insurers that you are getting what you need. eg does liability cover apply to all employees, full time, part time and occasional labour?
Safe and happy cleaning :)
