Hi
We are a limited company and need someone in the East Sussex area who can pressure wash 200+ caravans in February.
We are looking to pay £10 (negotiable) per caravan.
Any well-established reputable takers?!
-
i would be interested in your project.
please e mail me more details
leebennett30@aol.com
-
£10
could you do them in 15mins each?
-
may i ask do you apply anything onto the caravans to prevent the return of the green algee that alot of caravans attract?
-
Johnny
In answer to your question, no.
In the past we have used a specialist chemical for boats and caravans from our supplier. It was more to give it a sparkle as opposed to algae prevention.
-
oh ok i will shortly have 2 products available one to clean the caravan to remove the algee washed on (no need for a pressure washer ) and then another to treat the van to prevent algee returning
-
Hello, do you have any photos of the caravans, I don't think you could make a decent job of each caravan for a tenner but I may be wrong
-
No photos, but they're statics.
With regard to doing a good job for a tenner...I suppose it depends on how conscientious you are, how badly you need the work and whether or not you want to build a good relationship with the client ie. us. Thus securing more work for the future. ;)

hi there i could be intersest please email me some details thanks surreypressureclean@ntlworld.com.

What are you trying to achieve with the pressure washing? Is it algae removal and general clean or is it ground in discolouration/weathering type cleaning your after? Do you know pressure washing will give you the results your after?
Why not post your email so people can contact you directly

i was told not to use a pressure washer on a caravan as it can cause damage
-
I know that around windows and the roof area can be dodgy. I am not au fait with pressure washing, but have watched it being done before with low pressure and care taken! This is why we need someone with a certain modicum of expertise.
Contact us in the first instance on:
jobs@quadrafm.co.uk and make reference to this forum in the subject. We'll contact people directly over the next few days, things are hectic at the moment.

I was going to go on and say that pressure washing may not get the best results, you could better use WFP for better results and less likelyhood of damage - but as you point out I am not desperate for the work - I am however consciencious and keen on doing a very good job.

Really appreciate all your comments! We need to box things off in the next couple of weeks to make a start February.
Historically they have been pressure washed but we understand all your concerns and take on board your advice.
If anyone is interested and they want to email us, we'll be in touch over the next few days.
We're down in E Sussex next week so we may be able to meet up with interested parties to discuss further.
Cheers

Why not use the previous contractor?
-
collybolly do you clean the insides of the vans?
-
Good question BDCS. We're actually not privvy to that information, but in any case we'd like to start with a clean sheet.
Johnny, yes we do.
-
where abouts it e Sussex, i don't mind doing them wfp, but its up to you
-
have you ever cleaned a caravan with wfp? thats dirty?#
Its a nightmare if it has a "dimpled" skin to it. pressure washer and a good brush will do the job.
I'd like to do it, but its a 3.5 hours drive each way for me!
-
powerfull hard surface cleaner does the job, spray it on and watch the dirt run away
-
colloy bolly...I am up for it...I sent you an email, but it was returned to my inbox, did you recieve anything ?
-
Hi 'Ace' nothing has come through from you. I've had other responses no problem, so ????????
