who has one and which models seem to be best?
-
What power upgrade do you have.
-
i have 90bhp too 1.8 diesel turbo injection great little van good mover no probs leased @£180 per month by it in 5 years as it will have only done 30,000 with full srvice so therfore i can sell if for more than the baloon payment
-
how big a tank can you get in a connect?
-
400 max i wouldnt go anymore but we use ours now for a technican van
-
500 ltrs in mine.
-
500 ? you have lwb cos short wheel base has only got 625kg payload so 500ltr full poles, ladders, fuel, you thats got to be over 625 kg?
-
LWB is what i have yes,the SWB are no good for WFP they don`t have the room in my humble opinion. The tape measure might say theres not much difference but in reality there is.
-
lol @ easy your well over but if you travel short distances then ok as you will be losing water quickly ......but you get stopped you get a ticket......and your brakes, shocks etc will wear quick but hey if it works for you
-
what i would worry about is after being in a head on collision is that if your insurance found that you were over weight then what happens? uninsured? dangerous driving no i would rather not take the risk but im not knocking anyone who does we all have to do this job however best we can
-
my old tranny used to have a 700ltr tucker system in and when full with all the kit my god 1st gear comming up hills used to take whold day do travel 4 miles
-
How would insurance know what how much water you were carrying. i have a connect with 400l tank and backpack and 25 ltr barrel and van handles like a good car, never been a problem and i think the best looking smaller type van on the market. superb!!!

the RAC are getting rid of theirs dues to the cost of repairs also the courier firm i used to work for are having second thoughts due to the high cost of repairs
-

Of course they will have trouble,RAC and courier companys do ridiculous mileage.

400 max i wouldnt go anymore but we use ours now for a technican van
