Rob

Seems the only way you will get on is by making a Spectre of yourself ;D

Cheers

When I joined a couple of years ago, I stupidly thought it was an open forum for carpet cleaners to exchange views, as in forum............a place for debate and exchange of views.

Mine were unwelcome and I was red carded, no explanation, just found my login no longer working and eventually found out I'd been barred FOREVER although no one could remember why.

I didn't know they did adverts?

I was once told "never advertise that you are the best because you have nothing to back up your claim apart from yourself"

cleantalk is the original, but it remind me of  Triggers brush on Only Fool & Horses, where he says he is using his original broom he was issued 20 years ago but its had 12 new heads and 8 new handles at what point is something changed so much it is not longer what it started out to be.

as for the best, that's a matter of opinion, but what we should all do is visit it and post & answer question. a lot of people think its just a advertising machine for solution-UK product, but if the majority of the posters are fans of Solution-UK then this will be the case, what it needs is more people willing to give alternative answers.

anything that looks negative towards solutions will cause them to be blocked from posting in the future, the site does not want an alternative view to the products it sells otherwise it would be a good as cleanitup is.

Still get some interetsing stuff on their though but i nervous about posting because of what can happen.

I got that e-mail today as well.

Last thing I intended was to give FREE publicity to the forum, like Doug, I am unable to access, even to read discussions.

I just wrote a piece explaining how one could build a substational company by being helpful on Forums

Went to post it and the system crashed.

It just shows how liberated Cleanitup is we allow all this free Advertising for a rival

Other Forums please do not try as I will delete. ;D ;D

As a Forum Junkie Cleantalk has a place in my life and heart.
The marketing Archive is very good with tips by Marlk Betts and the guy above.

Lots of you are football fans, I'm not but I know that if a player breaks the rules he is cautioned (yellow card) or sent off (red card). Have \i got that right.
That seems fair to me - break the rules suffer the penalty.

I too find Cleantalk a restrictive at times, but it is their money invested in the site and obviously they are looking for a return. Yes they would like to sell their products. They set the rules and if you want to play the game you have to abide by the rules. Anything wrong with that?

I wonder how many of the mulitudes that frequent this forum, Clean It Up, actually buy products off Express Cleaning Services?

Now because I have "supported" Solutions UK forum Clean Talk (whoops another advet) I'll be classed once again as a creeper.
Do I care? NO.

There were no rules broken in my case, there was just a petulant " it's my ball and my bat " reaction to comments on some subject or other . It was so insignificant I can't remember the content and niether can they.

Of course you dont care Joe,

Creepers never do  ;)   ;D

and like I said in a reply on c/t   " another free bottle of spotter on its way " ;D

They did not like that at all, wonder why!   does the truth hurt?  or is the fact that if you promote and creep you think you may actually be getting a better deal than others  :-\

mmmmmmm  I doubt it , but like all good salesmen doing their job   , you may well think you  ;)

Actually I do have a free bottle from Solutions UK - a free bottle of Charley Spotter.
Got it when I went on the NCCA course in Dec 07, along with some free Ultimate Master and Odour Clear from Alltec, some free Prochem stuff (4 bottles) and a £25 voucher to aquire 5 litre Chemspec Formula 90 Liquid for free.
Forgot to add - I got a free bottle of Nemesis Super from Restormate as well.
Thank you to ALL those suppliers.
There, thats my closet empty - more honest then the polititions! (that was easy)

Actually, its all quite interesting.
The very thing that  those who use CleanTalk are accused of on here - ie closing ranks, is what actually happens on here.
On here, if you dont agree with the gang of 7 (or 8 or 9) then your "odd".

I admire

Nick Solutions

John Restormate

Matt at Cleansmart

They came into the supply industry and created a Niche for themselves in a market that was dominated by Prochem , Alltec ,Ashbys, and possibly Extracta,

I

Obviously I joined in this post but I am under the impression Solutions like  this kind of post as it funnels traffic to their Web site.

I am now going to lock it as I think enough has been said.
