Allied do good deal on PL, EL and Treatment Risk, costs are dependant on number of employees, wage bill and turnover.  Just brought mine down this year by over £400

On line quotes are ok but I prefer to phone them.

This just shows the extra hiden costs of employing staff, mine is being renewed tomorrow and the best I have managed to get it for was £1403.00 !!!!

That's PL for £5M, EL for 10 employees and Treatment risk, it also didn't help that we are now a ltd company.

Hi all

I just rang up HSBC to add treatment risk to my 1m public liability and was told I was covered for damage as well. She read out what the policy covers and it covered pretty much anything that could go wrong whilst cleaning so for £62.07 that sounds like a fair deal to me.

I thought it was strange that the site did not say anything about treatment risk, seems it is included in the public liability cost!

I renewed my insuranc elast Sept for 7 in the business.
P/L plus Employee Liabil - cost £1206

Did not include Treatment Risk

Instructed my broker to get quote to include Treatment Risk
He comes back with another companies quote (because original doesbnt do Treatment risk)

New quote is £902 for P/L + E/L + treatment risk

Broker says insurance prices are now falling.
They have fallen enough for me to save £300 for better cover.
That saving will pay for my membership to NCCA.
