can any one help me i am currently employin someone and have been told that they must have a written contract of work , if so has any one got a copy of there one or know the best place to go to have one done and what sort of stuff i can and cant put in it any help on this matter would be great thanks in advance marc

what you put in is upto you if it is legally binding is another matter, you can call businesslink they are free and give great advice, they also give you other people to talk to if they dont cover it.
as long as it is within the law you can put it in.

thanks again ian my guy at the moment does not have a contract he has been on the books since sep 07 can i get in trouble for not giving him a contract . marc

just get him to sign one asap m8, I think (I am unsure) that you have to have a contract, dont worry about it just date it to the date he started, if you are going to get them to sigh contact yearly do it a year from when he starts.
as long as you have emplyer liability dont worry if you have worry as this I know for a fact is law.
