Hello,
As you know, I 'm new to cleanitup, I am just starting out in the carpet cleaning business and as I will be lurking around here, thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself.
Ive seen a number of other newbie posts here, and the responses, so I wont start off in the usual manner of firing off 25 questions to those of you who have been in the trade for a while.
My name's Steve, I currently run a domestic cleaning company in Berkshire, dealing with the usual regular, weekly and one off cleaning etc.
I'm now looking to branch out in to carpet cleaning.
First off, I have a course booked with the NCCA this coming week, to give me some background information and starting advice to get my toe in the door.
I'll do my best to scour the previous posts on here to cover any questions I might have, before I post any new ones.
Anyway, I`ll try not to be too much of a pest, and I hope to get to know the regulars in the coming months.
Cheers
Steve :)

Hello Steve,
Sounds Like you have thought this move into carpet cleaning through :)
By attending a course in carpet cleaning and finding the forum before you spend out on a machine, tools, chems, etc, you wont make the mistakes many make which could save you a small fortune :)
Good Luck in your new venture ;D

Good luck Steve, i myself started and immediately did training that was invaluable.
I only found the Forums after 21 years ::)........... could have done with them alot sooner.
Anything you need to ask can be sourced through this forum and I , and many others, would not mind a pm with any discreet queries.

Hi All,
What a nice response from everyone. Seems a decent forum.
Thanks for all your kind words and I hope to keep in touch with everyone to exchange ideas, tips, tricks and general knowledge so we can help eachother out - not that i'll bring much in the way of knowledge for a while!
Ian - I'll see you there mate :)
Cheers

Welcome Steve
I only found this forum last month, and I have been CC for 15 years, I just wished I found it years ago.
It has changed my way of thinking about the job and I know my prices have been cheap, but now I am getting ready for a new years resolution.
Regards Dave.
