Anyone had problems with the on demand pump in the steempro range?
New machine four weeks old and has developed a kinda airlock that i can't shift, pressure fluctuating constant up down every second?
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hi Scott
I had exactly the same problem on mine mate. Had it back at prochem in Greenock about 4 times. Told me they had never had a problem like it before. Pump was replaced twice then within 2 days started getting the same problems.
I ended up buying a female quick connect, attaching it to the end of the solution hose then letting it run for 5 mins (making sure the solution tank had plenty of water in it).
Touch wood, this has been ok since, but I have started doing this every time I fill up to ensure it doesnt happen again.

Hi Scott and the Scot :D
I've always drained my tank and pump at the end of every job and the routine that John has described is the one I go through everytime I fill up or, on the very rare occasions, run out of water mid-job. Just to add to John's post though, there is no need to make sure there's plenty of H2O in the tank, just enough will do because you can point your hose back into the tank and recirculate what water you have.
Safe and happy cleaning :)
