Why do companies arrange carpet cleaning when staff still in buildings.Three premises to do last night from 5 onwards, 2 buildings staff there till nine other could not start till 8.30.
They specifically asked me to start at five but staff up and down stairs constantly even though there was a lift and it was cordoned off they still climbed under the tape.Last week burst sewrage pipe people still using toilet even though signs on door DO NOT USE ::)
But I bet if they slipped it would be my fault >:(

I recently give up a good and regular contract, for those reasons, it was a well paid and regular clean every 3 months, but no out of hours access and fully occupied, within half an hour of starting.
I'm about to drop regular car showroom work, for the same reason, where it's not just staff wandering about, but members of the public. The potential for a claim is not worth the reward and sometimes it's impossible to complete on time, if they have customers.

Steve,
I did a job last year, one I do at least once a year. Cleaning offices whilst people are still at their desks etc. Got fed up with it, so last time used Host system, it did clean n a fashion and main thing is the client was happy and paid up on the spot. But as I packed away and left it had taken on the appearance of the Sahara Desert.
Dave.
